Symptoms
- Control UI shows Disconnected from gateway
- pairing required / device identity required loops
- origin not allowed errors in UI
Root cause
OpenClaw gateway/control UI connectivity
Fix
- Set gateway.controlUi.allowedOrigins to include the public host.
- Ensure pairing approval bootstrap is executed once (idempotent).
- Verify gateway service is reachable from the UI and websockets are allowed.
