Disconnected from gateway. pairing required

Symptoms​

  • Dashboard shows pairing required after a restart/update
  • WhatsApp channel Show QR button does nothing

Root cause​

Device pairing flow requires approval when the dashboard token changes; updates can trigger this if device-pair plugin is enabled.

Fix​

  1. Disable device-pair plugin (recommended for multi-tenant hosted control UI).
  2. If a deployment is already stuck, approve the latest device request on the server.
